In the wild
Before
- Personal reminders — birthdays, anniversaries, to-dos — lived in a default phone reminders app with no way to involve anyone else.
- Assigning a task to a family member meant a text message, not a shared list either person could check.
- Recurring events, a birthday every year, had to be re-entered instead of repeating on their own.
The Brain
Task and event structure, recurrence rules and each contact's relationship — family, friend, colleague — held once, so a task can be assigned and repeated instead of retyped.
The Loop
Every task created, assigned or completed writes back to the shared list, whoever created it.
